The mosquito fogging that was scheduled for Sunday, August 5, 2018,  has been moved to Thursday, August 2, 2018 due to a conflict the sprayer had.

The City of Remsen will begin trimming trees hanging over the City streets.  Homeowners are encouraged to trim their own trees to a height of 15 feet above the street.  Tree trimming will be completed in the months of August and September .

Last night (June 24) they were unable to do the mosquito fogging due to the rain. They will be fogging on Thursday, June 28 to make it up. Thank you.

The City of Remsen has issued a water restriction due to the dry weather conditions. Residents are asked to refrain from watering their lawns during the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Residents with even numbered houses may water their lawns on even number calendar days outside of those hours and houses with odd numbers may water on odd calendar days outside those hours. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

We will be flushing hydrants the week of May 7-11.  Residents may experience water discoloration during this time.  Thank you.
